LOST The First Arabic Study about the Show Millions Watch, Season One is an unofficial fan companion book by translator and journalist Hisham Fahmy. It is written in Arabic and is the first of six books discussing the American serial drama television series LOST. The rest of the book series is set to be published gradually during 2010, with volume 2 coming out in early May.

Published in Egypt by Kayan Pub. at the 2010 Cairo International Book Fair, and being the first of its kind in the Arabic library, the book contains a complete episode guide through the first season of the show. Each chapter focuses on one episode, analyzing the events that took place, along with the mythological questions raised in every episode, and providing related information, such as synopsis of books, movies, TV shows or songs seen, heard or mentioned on the show, and historical facts that tie in to the mythology.

Each chapter consists of six sections, and each section corresponds to one of Hurley’s Numbers. Section 4 contains an important quote said by a character in the episode. Section 8, “Everything Happens for a Reason,” analyzes the character development through the events taking place on the Island and the parallelism between them and the flashbacks. Section 15, “Mythological Thoughts,” focuses on discussing the mythology of the show and answering some of the questions. Section 16, “Things You Need to Notice,” deals with the little hints and clues the writers planted in the episode and regular viewers might have missed. Section 23, “Inspiration Sources,” presents the cultural references, books, movies, songs and other things, in the episode. Chapter 42, “Trivia,” focuses on production notes and other things production-related. The book is introduced by acclaimed horror and suspense Egyptian writer Tamer Ibrahim. It consist of of 286 pages and contains 24 chapters, each corresponding to one episode of the season.
