This is a story about a boy from Lebanon called Issam who was named after his grandfather. Wherever the boy went, he was greeted warmly with people expressing their hope that he will be like his grandfather who was a good man… And then they would start talking about the actions of the first Issam and how everybody in the village had loved him.
The boy made a frame for his grandfather’s picture and hung it on the wall. When his friends came and asked him about the man in the picture, he discovered that he knew quite a lot about his grandpa whom he has never seen and that he was actually taking him as a role model.
